- • Content, for the most part, free of rapid image sequences that can cause visual impairments
- • Use, for the most part, of descriptive titles for the pages
- • Clear and consistent navigation structures
- • Error messages and suggestions are mostly clear to facilitate the correction of inputs

Furthermore, dedicated features are constantly updated to ensure an ever-improving experience for all users.
Content not accessible
The Website marinarinaldi.com is partially compliant with the harmonized standards UNI CEI EN 301549.
In particular, in relation to the standards listed in Appendix A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard, the contents listed below are not yet accessible:
- • Non-text content: For some product images, the screen reader announces non-descriptive or incorrect names, includes unnecessary information such as image dimensions, and fails to communicate a meaningful description of the item shown in the image.
- • Information and correlations: Some headers do not have the correct semantic level and carousel items are not communicated as structured lists. Programmatic grouping and labels for checkboxes and input fields are missing. Some error messages, while visually present, are not correctly associated with their respective fields. Content organised as tables is not presented with adequate semantics and some buttons are duplicated, or have ambiguous labels.
- • Flow recalculation: With the page scaled to 400%, image links in some sections are partially visible and navigation controls are not accessible.
- • Contrast non-text content: Some interface elements, such as icons and
- focus indicators, show insufficient colour contrast with the background.
- • Text spacing: When applying text spacing adjustments, some links are cut off, making it difficult to understand the content.
- • Text content contrast: Several text elements, including dates, placeholders, links, and product image links, have insufficient colour contrast against the background.
- • Text scaling: When the browser zoom is set to 200%, some links are partially visible.
- • Keyboard navigation: Several interactive elements, such as links, buttons, and form controls, are not fully accessible or usable via the keyboard.
- • Skipping content blocks: There is no mechanism to skip repetitive content blocks.
- • Focus order: Several interactive elements, such as buttons, links, and form controls, have focus management issues, including unexpected focus shifts, focus on hidden elements or background elements.
- • Purpose of links: Several links with the same label are announced without any descriptive context.
- • Label names: Several buttons are announced without properly communicating their status information; furthermore, in some cases, the visually associated information is not programmatically matched.
- • Focus indicator: Some controls do not have a visible focus indicator.
- • Label in name: Some controls are announced with incorrect labels, so the visually present information is not communicated programmatically.
- • Consistent identification: The same interactive element, in some sections, has different labels.
- • Identifying errors: When a form is submitted, in some cases, generic error messages are displayed that do not clearly indicate the location of the error or the specific field that is missing.
- • Labels and instructions: Some input fields have only the placeholder as a visible label.
- • Name, role and state of interactive elements: For several interactive elements (buttons, links, accordions, pop-ups, form controls) the accessible names are missing or incorrect, roles are not always defined correctly and, in some cases, statuses are not announced properly.
- • Status messages: Some status and validation messages are displayed but are not announced by screen readers.
Max Mara Srl has started a structured improvement programme, aimed at progressively addressing identified critical issues, with particular attention to new content and the most frequently visited sections of the website.
The programme includes scheduled accessibility reviews, in addition to the internal training programme already underway aimed at Designers, Developers, and all departments involved in the management and development of the Website, with the aim of promoting a fully accessible approach.
